Cannot Save Here?? Why Not ??

Overview

This video explains a “Cannot save here” error that can appear when saving toolpaths in Vectric Aspire. The issue is not caused by the software itself, but by the destination folder being locked or lacking administrative rights.

Steps

1. Create a circle in the drawing area.
2. Create a profile toolpath using standard/default settings.
3. Click Calculate to generate the toolpath.
4. Click Save Toolpath to export the file for CNC use.
5. Choose a destination folder — in this example, a folder on a network drive.
6. Attempt to save the toolpath file.
7. The software displays an error indicating the file cannot be saved to that location.
8. Choose a different, accessible save location and save successfully.
