How to draw an arc in Vectric software | Creating Vectors

This video demonstrates how to draw an arc in Vectric software using the Create Vectors tools. It covers the three-point arc method, the center/start/end method, and how to draw an arc with precise coordinate and radius values.

  1. Go to the Design tab.
  2. Under Create Vectors, click the Arc icon.
  3. Select the Through Three Points mode.
  4. Click to place the start point of the arc.
  5. Click again to place the end point.
  6. Move the mouse to adjust the curve/radius of the arc.
  7. Click to accept the arc.

Create an Arc Using Center, Start, and End

  1. With the Arc tool active, select Center, Start, End mode.
  2. Click to place the center point of the arc.
  3. Move the mouse outward and click to set the start point.
  4. Move the mouse to define the arc length, then click to set the end point.
  5. The arc is created.
  1. Open the Arc tool and choose your desired creation mode.
  2. In the arc form, enter the start point coordinates, e.g.:
    • X: 1
    • Y: 1
  3. Enter the end point coordinates, e.g.:
    • X: 9
    • Y: 1
  4. Specify the Radius or Height of the arc, e.g.:
    • Radius: 5
  5. Click Create to place the arc.
  • The Arc icon is located in the Create Vectors section of the Design tab.
  • Use the left mouse button to place points.
  • The two main arc modes are Through Three Points and Center, Start, End.
  • In the precise values form, you must provide enough information: start point, end point, and either the radius or height.
  • Press Ctrl + Z to undo an arc and try another method.
